Billing is issued monthly. To avoid late fees, payment is due within 30 days of receipt of the invoice (Net 30). Please ensure payment is submitted within this timeframe to avoid late fees.

Pricing is all-inclusive. Service fees, processing fees, and standard/local travel costs are incorporated into listed prices to simplify billing and avoid unexpected charges. Fees for extended travel and/or secondary visits without a full cavity sonogram are determined on a case-by-case basis.

Insight reserves the right to require same-day payment for future ultrasound services if prior payments are repeatedly late or outstanding. 

Please contact us directly for information regarding the cancellation fee policy. Insight reserves the right to require same-day payment in cases of repeated cancellations or when a cancellation impacts the care of another scheduled ultrasound at a different hospital. 

If sedation is declined by the pet’s family or the referring veterinarian, it is important to understand that this will likely compromise image quality and limit the diagnostic accuracy of the ultrasound, which can affect case management. When sedation is recommended, Insight utilizes very light sedation protocols to relax the abdominal wall and improve patient comfort, allowing for clear, diagnostic-quality images and improved detection of abnormalities that might otherwise be missed. Insight reserves the right to discontinue an ultrasound if a patient is deemed unsafe or if diagnostic images cannot be obtained. In such cases, all images acquired will be interpreted to the best extent possible, and a full charge for the ultrasound and interpretation will apply.
