Insight Imaging & Diagnostics was built by Dr. Michael Wasserman around the belief that advanced diagnostic imaging should remain accessible at the patient’s side—whether in a quiet exam room, a busy emergency hospital, or during critical moments when rapid answers matter most. Inspired by the impact point-of-care ultrasound can have on unstable patients and complex cases, Insight focuses on bringing efficient, high-quality mobile sonography directly into everyday clinical practice while supporting collaboration between general practitioners and specialists.
Dr. Wasserman is SDEP®-certified in abdominal ultrasound following focused training, case development, and image review. His advanced ultrasound training journey began with the SonoPath SDEP® abdominal training weekend, ultimately leading to formal certification. He is currently continuing advanced training toward certification in echocardiography and thoracic ultrasound and plans to pursue additional advanced training through SonoPath in complex echocardiography.
The accompanying clip demonstrates an efficient feline cardiac sweep from the 4–5 chamber view into short axis, providing a rapid bedside assessment of cardiac function and overall cardiovascular status. This example represents a normal feline heart, but the same focused approach can be especially valuable in emergency and critical care settings when unstable patients require quick real-time assessment.
