Insight Imaging & Diagnostics is a mobile veterinary imaging service providing on-site abdominal ultrasound, echocardiography, ultrasound-guided interventional support, and structured SonoPath reporting to hospitals throughout the Treasure Coast and surrounding areas.

Insight's mission is to provide practices with advanced diagnostic imaging within their hospital while maintaining access to subspecialty-level interpretation and consultation.

This philosophy emphasizes diagnostic consistency, clinical accuracy, and collaborative case support — providing hospitals with dependable imaging and clinically actionable reporting integrated directly into everyday practice.

Insight Imaging & Diagnostics utilizes SonoPath’s Sonographic Diagnostic Efficiency Protocol (SDEP®) to deliver consistent, high-quality ultrasound studies for both abdominal and echocardiographic imaging. 

Defined imaging windows, structured acquisition protocols, and organized interpretive pathways support fatigue-resistant review and clear, clinically actionable reporting. 

This process allows hospitals to receive subspecialty-level diagnostic insight while maintaining continuity of care within their own practice environment when appropriate.

Dr. Wasserman is SDEP®-certified in abdominal ultrasound, a structured training and quality-control pathway focused on standardized image acquisition, repeatable scanning protocols, and systematic evaluation of abdominal structures. Certification involved months of ultrasound case submission, image quality assessment, and specialist review, including approximately eight months of structured ultrasound submissions and feedback through the certification process. 

This approach emphasizes consistency and completeness in image acquisition while reducing variability between examinations and decreasing the likelihood of missed pathology.

All studies performed through Insight Imaging & Diagnostics include specialist review and consultation through SonoPath, a privately owned veterinary imaging and education organization without corporate ownership or vested interests in pharmaceutical, laboratory, or referral-based revenue streams. This collaborative workflow provides hospitals access to experienced interpreters and consultants, including DACVIM-boarded clinicians, DABVP-certified clinicians, DACVECC specialists, and cardiologist consultation when indicated.

By combining standardized image acquisition with independent specialist interpretation, Insight delivers a two-tier diagnostic approach designed to support confident clinical decision-making, strengthen diagnostic accuracy, and help practices manage advanced imaging cases in-house whenever possible.
